No, not comparing. It's just that I think right wing folks go too far in this idea that humans are not causing any CO2 emissions and pollution that are both contributing factors to global warming. Of course we are polluting and it is harming the environment. The evidence is overwhelming. China is a big coal burner and this contributes and enormous amount of sulfur dioxide. China's big cities are now full of cars, which contribute an enormous amount of carbon monoxide. Both of these things are terrible for the environment. Carbon monoxide is considered far more harmful in terms of global warming than CO2, even though most people debate the CO2 contributions by humans when discussing the link to global warming.

The bottom line is that humans pollute on a massive scale. Of course this has harmful effects on our environment. China is a classic example of it.
