ThrustMaster Ships USB Joysticks To NEC Corp. HILLSBORO, Ore. (Dow Jones)--ThrustMaster Inc. (TMSR) made its first shipment of universal serial bus, or USB, joysticks to NEC Corp. (NIPNY). In a press release Wednesday, ThrustMaster said the joysticks will be distributed with NEC's PowerPlayer personal computers. USB technology was designed by several computer and software manufacturers to ensure universal plug-and-play capabilities. ThrustMaster also plans to supply USB game pads and racing wheels to NEC in the first quarter. ThrustMaster develops and manufactures game controllers. NEC, Tokyo, makes electronic and telecommunications equipment.
