Friday I did a non-system based trade near the close of the market. Bought OEX 470 calls. I did not post it here, because it was a play based on intuition. I never feel comfortable posting trades of this type. The only person who knew I entered it was lisa. My reasoning was how the market shrugged off the strong eco data and actually made a new high on Friday. IMO, I said we were heading for 1000 in 1-2 weeks. To me, this is a weak reason for entering a trade, and that's why I don't share the trade (real time anyway). The trade was a gamble so I didn't use as much $$$ as I do on my system-based trades (which is a good thing since I am down over 60% on it right now). So as you see, I still do gamble trades (but not many) and I still hold without taking the loss and moving on (but I don't do this often anymore). Talk to you later.
