The medieval state of feudal slavery, was a system reciprocal military political, noble & prestige based system, Kings ruled by Divine right. One sees nothing but slavery admidst the structured layers of loyalties & sworn alliegiences of the knights & nobles that would arise from the natural necessity & need for security. In this kind of militarist social order, would be exactly as a Darwinian view would have predicted.

That was being challenged by the rise of Humanism in the Renaissance, leading on to the "Age of Enlightenment". That Christian society didn't have slavery in the form of serfdoms who owed their very lives to the local lord?

You are blowing smoke out of your ass again, and we have entered the Rennaisance again.
