I've got several replies but no time at the moment. Beyond that I'm not willing to engage in the insultfest that goes with political discussions on SI. Now, OTOH, if you say bad things about the Green Bay Packers - thems fightin' words lol.

What you're implying about Paul Ryan is not accurate. It makes for good MSNBC headlines but the fact is he's a really good person. He's not an atheist (you know that) - he's Catholic and went to St. Mary's which is a damn fine school. I could give you a list of MANY kids that went to that school and they're ALL well ground, good people. You don't have to agree with his politics but as people go - he's super high quality.

I've read nothing by Rand so I'm not qualified to say one way or the other. All I'll say is if Ryan had staff members read Ayn Rand he had a good logical reason.
