While Rand had weirdness about her and had her own issues, so did a lot of highly intelligent and prescient individuals. Koan, as he chronically does, has closed his mind to better ideas and uses her eccentricity as a basis for doing so.

Ryan is obviously one of the most competent persons when it comes to the US budget. Unfortunately, he gave the store away with this horrible deal last week. Inexplicable.
