Xfinity wifi(unencrypted) is now on my RCN wifi(wpa2-aes) router made by ARRS. I can now connected to comcast and see the accounts available for pay or free trial of xfinity wifi.(2 free 60 minutes period but typical wifi session is about 28 minutes, so 4 free 30 minute periods are more persuasive) Its not totally ready for use yet, since comcast websites are not displayed. It will take sometime for comcast to offer their services. ARRS had done the software upgrade to connect the xfinity wifi service. This will add more wifi channels in comcast cable plant or other cable plants in your area. It will be ready for ipTV and bigdata webpage display with ARRS wifi router.
