I'm not abusive but there's no way we'll agree if the starting point is that Bush was dumb Bush started a war Clinton would have had the national debt paid off by 2012. After the market tanked in 2000 followed by 9/11, the real estate bubble (which was already happening in the mid - late 90's), the 2007 - 2009 market tanking, financial crisis - etc etc etc - NOBODY would have had the national debt paid off. The chance to pull that off came and went with the 90's. We need real jobs, real leadership and a real effort to craft some solutions or 2008 & 2009 are going to look like the golden years. It may already be too late
