JimIsJim, what "mean" are you referring to, to which natty prices reverted? The mean natty price for the 5 yrs. prior to '99 was about $2, give or take. Even though natty prices spent a few days around that price in '12, the fact that prices came right back up to around the mid $3 range once we had a year with more normal weather would seem to imply that the very brief dip back to pre-'99 levels was just an aberration caused by an extreme weather event, vs. a reversion to a mean.
