Alaska is in better shape than any state in the union because it listened to its social scientists. The social scientists in the 70's told the legislature to put money aside from the oil revenues so when the oil ran out the people would have something.

So they created the huge government Alaska permanent fund. Which the pubs hated and fought we dems trying to establish it. Now they embrace it.

Texas, Oklahoma, LA , Mississippi and lots of states could have done that with their oil, but they don't like government.

Today Alaska has over 50 billion in a permanent fund and the revenues pay for all our social services needs and we all get about $1,000 a year in a permanent fund check.

And we pay NO state taxes at all.

Liberals and social scientists made that happens by having some vision!
