John; You seem to be sensitive to my using the word ideology. It isn't an evil word you know? For instance I would argue that my ideology includes the following; pay as you go, less military spending - much less - so that other priorities can be accomplished. Force Congress to balance the budget so there is some semblance of discipline unless the economy is clearly falling apart. Spend spend spend by government for those things that benefit future Americans and strengthens America - fast internet, good health care scientific research and so on. I'm NOT ashamed to stand by my ideological beliefs!
