Your quote from the article left out the fact that the VZ purchase commitments went from $100 million in '09 to $45 billion in 2010.

That is as solid an indication as you are ever going to get about the details of a confidential contract. There might be a few hundred million to other companies, but VZ didnt suddenly commit billions to Motorola after having virtually nothing committed previously.
