Leo,

Maxell, Sony and Fuji do not have licensing agreements with Iomega. Rather they have "co-branding" agreements with Iomega. Iomega makes ALL Zip disks. Maxell and others simply put their labels on them, leading the general public to believe that the disks come from lots of sources like 3 1/2" floppy disks.
