Wisconsin - they talked about a cooling trend that had started in the 40's and suggested scientists thought we were entering a mini ice age. I remember it like yesterday. Edit And guess what? 30 years wasn't a long enough swatch of time to predict an ice age. Same as 30 years is not enough time to predict global warming
