Unions are crumbling, gun legislation is going backward even in the face of recent shootings, there seems to be a hatred for Obama that I think is race related, immigration reform is non existent, and 30 states have a republican Governor. Where are the wins; drug laws relaxed, gay marriage accepted? These are indeed great wins but have been allowed because of changing norms and even then in only a handful of Progressive States like yours and mine. I'm happy with the way things are going in my State, but I think we are a rarity and that the fundamentalist still have their foot on the neck of country wide social gains.
