I do not claim to be an authority in statistics. You are putting words in my mouth. I said it had the most influence on me. And I can tell by your rant below you don't understand probability at all.

When you say one thing can disprove a theory that is true, it is also not what statistics and probability is about.

Every time I see you misuse statistics to make your point, I laugh at your claims of statistical authority, especially when you mock others.

If you were the authority on statistics that you claim, you won't need to ask how I know that you are misusing them.

And if you had any understanding of logic, you would know that using misleading statistics as an appeal to authority, isn't a valid form of logic.

And if you knew anything about science, you would know that one exception is enough to disprove a theory. And with AGW, there are hundreds, if not thousands of exceptions.

I would LOVE to sit down at a poker table with you.
