"despite our best efforts" I think the question is, how good ARE our best efforts in cases like these? It seems now that this was a wedding party or something. How many people were involved in the decision to strike and how familiar were those people with the culture of Afghanistan? This stuff HURTS us with the local people and with the Muslim people in general. I'm in favor of the drone strikes. They've been our best and sometimes our only recourse against those guys but these things shouldn't always be treated as simply "mistakes" that can be made up for with a few bucks to the families...
