Tax and regulate small business out of existence. Since they are the primary engine of growth killing them off creates more dependency and dissatisfaction. An unhappy mass of unemployed people with no hope are easier to rally to mob frenzy. Mobs can be made to do anything by skilled manipulators. You have indeed produced an excellent explanation for why leftists do what they do.
