You have been great company during this lonely day in my home office. Brazil is down almost 4% ; Mexico is down 1.4%; and Ven is down over 3% Would you want to hold large positions overnight? We really do have a problem in asia (and europe with the high dollar) that still, I believe, hasn't been factored into the market. The bonds are amost at the high for the day. Why? Maybe funds are selling stocks and buying bonds. That's what happened in Oct. Of course, it could just be a conincidence, but I don't think so. Ok, it is now 3:00. Now the market can make its move. Will it have an incredible ralley (it's done it way more than once), or will it trend lower because of market fears?
