Education per se is not the best path to the political goals he envisions. Being knowledgeable in something does nothing with regards to how you will use that knowledge (including ignoring it). Nor does it do anything about how passionately you will pursue your goals. The problems we face cannot be solved with the same mindset that created them in the first place. Science will is not a substitute for justice or intelligence. Legislated "charity" is not a substitute for compassion and fraternity, And by and large, people do not respond to logic. What motivates us has little to do with reason.. ST
