Dividend increase announced. Every little bit helps. ----- OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 1997--Applebee's International Inc. (Nasdaq: APPB - news) today declared an annual dividend of 8 cents per share. The dividend is payable Jan. 26, 1998, to shareholders of record as of Dec. 22, 1997. This is the company's eighth consecutive dividend and represents an increase of 14 percent over last year's dividend of 7 cents. Applebee's International Inc., headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., develops, franchises and operates casual-dining restaurants under the trademarks of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar and Rio Bravo Cantina.
