Longer term gold is higher. Short term I think it will likely test US$1,000. Cost of production will cause a supply squeeze sooner or later but if we should have learned anything from the past few years it is that gold is a commodity and is completely influenced by supply and demand. Price has the biggest impact on supply and demand. Gold was up about 800% from the lows, that has to have an impact on both supply and demand and it did. You may be dead right about gold reaching $3500 but be dead wrong about the timing. Being wrong on either can make you go broke.
