Not entirely, Claude. The focus right now is on the fert because at these low initial volumes, fert sales will most immediately help the bottom line (those sales having been negligible up until now.) But there's profit at both ends: there's 1/5 oz. of silver in every gallon of photo waste and there's over 100 million gallons of the stuff produced each year in the US alone. A 10% penetration of that market would translate into 2 million ozs. of recovered silver a year. With the profitability from fert sales on the back end, they could easily afford to undercut any competition in attaining silver refining contracts. It's a very elegant business model, and they're moving with great care and intelligence to implement it. Signs are, it might work.

You should call the president, John Whitney, at 1-800-368-1865. He's a very easy guy to talk to.
