Remember the issue is: is education a prerequisite for wisedom, or is wisdom organic? My contention is, that by and large, the more education, the more wisdom. The Vikings were among the worst barbarians to ever live. Not a lot of wisdom there. I would further argue going back in history, the wisest large culture before modern times was easily ancient Greece. And no culture was anywhere near as educated as the ancient Greeks. No one even close.
