Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I've been rather involved recently, but I've been among those who thought IMGN should have stopped N901-DM1 Trials long ago. Why? Not because the N901 MAB may not be right, rather because of that -DM1 representing IMGN's oldest TAP technology. We know that Genentech forced IMGN to improve dramatically on it's linker, they developed several new linkers, as well as new effector molecules.
As I understand it, the original T-DM1, which used the same technology, had a very wide variation on how many DM1 molecules attached to each MAB, sometimes as high as 11 or so, some as low as 1, or less. My point is, if IMGN really has faith in N901, lets rebuild it right, and put it back in trials. With robust results it could move much quicker through trials, rather than just barely hanging on for year after year.
As for AdamF, who do you believe, him, or all of IMGN's partner's who've probably licensed a couple dozen drugs and produced positive results with several already in trials. AdamF is an agent of those who manipulate stocks, especially those who short. Give him time and he'll be singing IMGN's praises, but not until those who want him to tell him to do it.
As for me, I've got a lot of time on my hands as 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I've just come home from the first course of treatment and will be home till the 26th, but their are at least 7 more similar courses, so I'm tied up with treatment until at least this Summer. We were practically ready to leave for Tahoe for skiing when my blood counts went to hell. It was very fast, as they'd been tested less than 3 weeks before and were outstanding. That's why it's considered acute.
I've never really spent time on Facebook, but I'm keeping people there informed on my day to day status in as light a way as I can. Probably my first post mentioned the fact that all you're life your told eat your fresh fruit and vegetables, but don't each too much chocolate. It's ironic, now dark chocolate is good, but no fresh fruit or vegetables. My room was loaded with dark chocolate which I was happy to share with anyone on the staff or friends who visited the hospital. It was probably one of the most popular in the place.
I feel confident I'll conquer this thing, but I do have the Philadelphia Chromosome, so Gleevec, or something that may improve on it, will be part of my life. My goal is still 100, so I could be on it for near 30 years. The Insurance Companies certainly won't love me, but I believe it will all work out.
Happy Holiday's All,
