Cognitive dissonance doesn't even begin to explain it./ Though, I admit I once thought it did. I admit I was wrong. There are certain incredible forces in the universe. Belief in REFR is one. North Africa is a good example. It was Christian before the Moslem invasion. Wisely, the Moslems allowed Christians to live, paying a tax. Moslems paid no tax. The consequence was obvious. North Africa became Moslem. Now, REFR stockholders pay no taxes. They receive no dividends, And, for the most part, they enjoy no capital gains. People who invest in healthy companies, those that pay dividends, and generate capital gains, have to pay taxes. Which group would you rather belong to?
