Yup, I was stuck in gas lines trying to get gas way back in 1973 trying to drive across the state of Washington.

Made a huge impact on me and had fun with my physics professors that quarter as we discussed "alternatives" to our dependency.

I trust Jimmy Carter owns a special place in your wall of idiots. Markets solved that problem. I trust you remember how natural gas shortages were caused by the "caring" regulators (fools) who restricted the price of interstate natural gas. There are few better examples of the idiocy of government and how such idiocy impacts the well being of those the left purport to care about. I absolutely love the legacy of Jimmy Carter - there is no better proof of the idiocy of controls and government.
