Greg, I get the idea that CPQ is very much interested in appearances this quarter. Regarding the channel inventory, CPQ stuffed the channel last year and it took them more than a quarter to draw down the excess inventory. I was discussing this issue with an acquaintance that managed distribution and he stated that they would try to stuff the channel and the channel would push back on them. This redo of the IDC numbers appears also to have originated with CPQ. They made the comment that they had misallocated PC's to other than the business desktop market. No further details were given so I do not trust the IDC data. Regards, Jim Kelley
