Probably not if you include the time value of money. Nope.. If I was to run the home on fossil fuels it would have cost me 3 to 4 times what I've already paid.. No fossil fueled generator can come close to the reliability of my system.. 0 downtime the last 12 years. Who would take care of fossil fueled generator when I'm gone and fix it? Eric
