That's from a few years back, it wouldn't surprise me if Exxon-Mobil spends more now. OTOH a fair amount of what they spend might be lobbying for subsidies on their own "green" projects.

Ten to one and probably much, much more!

That's probably an accurate statement, except its likely ten to one or more for the arguments of the alarmists.

The problem for fossil fuels is cost and environmental impact.

Which are also problems for alternatives.
