As a professional in the field, do you feel that NT will ever be able to encroach in any of the areas in which UNIX dominates? Did you add NT to cover other needs? Was NT added as a suuport feature for the UNIX system. Just trying to get a better notion of these two since apparently some engineers on other threads feel that NT can replace UNIX in some functions. I'm not a technical person so basically I'm just trying to figure out what's going on here. Thanks. The reason why I bought sun is because I thought java was such a great idea and also i don't much like the notion that everytime I turn on my computer I'm entering the mind of bill gates. Thanks.
