The white reindeer singing tenor in the video above is Clyde McPhatter. Santa is Bill Pinkney singing bass. The other original Drifters (the 3 brown reindeer) are Gerhart Thrasher, Andrew Thrasher, and Willie Ferbee. The animated video's cartoonist was Joshua Held. This rendition of 'White Christmas' has been my favorite Christmas tune since I 1st heard it shortly after release in 1954. On the flip side of the Drifter's original 45 rpm recording was a mighty fine rendition of 'The Bells of Saint Mary's.
