That's an interesting passage. It says three MEN walked up to Abraham's dwelling and he recognized one of them as GOD. God, walking, talking, eating. God in the flesh. The Torah identifies him as YHWH. Two of the men were the angels who went on to Sodom to visit Abraham's nephew, Lot. There they smote the homosexual men of Sodom with blindness before leading Lot and his family out of the city. The third of Abraham's visitors didn't walk into Sodom, but is the one who destroyed it with fire. This isn't the only place the Jewish scriptures depict God in human form ... for example, see Daniel, where one like a Son of Man is seen by Nebuchadnezzar in the fiery furnace with Meshech, Shadrach, and Abednego. Both persons God in human form and you'll notice Christians didn't write Genesis or Daniel as they weren't around to do it. I suspect if one could go back to Abraham's tent AND to Nazareth 2000 years ago, you'd be able to recognize them as one and the same person. An unimportant point but Abraham served YHWH a non-kosher meal - meat and dairy together. You should try reading Who Ate Lunch with Abraham? amazon.com
