Yaacov, most of what is wrong here is those so-called analysts. Asia is being used again as a reason to sell. Agree, some cos. will be affected some and Japan worries me more than all those little Asian countries combined after hearing today that they knew about the problem in the banking sector and Yamaitchi brokerage as far as 6 years back and concealed it. If the trade deficit with Japan gets even greater, our exports may suffer greatly. Kodak is an example. But as far as the top techs are concerned, I think they will be alright. Analysts bring out a diff. scenario about the PCs every day. Today, I think Soundviev, downgraded the PCs becaus they "THINK" PC growth will slow to 13% from 15%. I don't know where they are getting this data from. The top PC makers are still growing at a good clip. What we need here is patience until those .......drown in their own stupidity. I hope I am not broke by then,gg. Here are 2 articles to support my view so far: yahoo.com CPQ has been slaughtered also. It has come back from almost 80 and they keep saying we are doing great but those analysts just know so much better!! Intel was down a lot more but has recovered most of the losses. HWP came back also and the one who is supposedly selling the most, CPQ, came back only a little. Hope this helps a little. I will check around some more by tomorrow. I will be off shortly. Sonny
