Hi gregor -

Glad you just confirmed my three best (recent) ideas. I have been acquiring UAN and have orders to buy CVRR to add to my other refiners. I also have been building a position in EXCO and recently signed up for their "rights" offering where I can buy one share for each four I already own for $5.00/share.

EXCO did two recent deals w/ private equity (I think it's the one you explained in your post) where they basically gave the store away to their partner for quick up front cash. The good part is that their partners help pay the expense in drilling the new wells and if they hit oil, they both are winners. These land assets are quite good, so I am not concerned about a JV agreement for future revenue sharing but want those wells drilled w/o continued outflows to EXCO.

Therefore, these deals are good for both the JV partner and EXCO. EXCO also pays a 3% dividend and if/when those new well get into production, I EXCO could move higher even back to teenage pricing.

So good to hear your observations on these companies as I thought I might be a loner here seeing a lot of potential value and excellent revenue streams (especially w/ UAN & CVRR) that the market just was not pricing correctly.

I have been wrong in the past and will be wrong in the future but I have placed my bets on UAN, CVRR and XCO (EXCO).
