| An honest and full life cycle emissions analysis for coal power versus wind power will always show hands down that coal is cleaner than wind-factoring in mining the iron ore to make the steel for the towers, housings, shipping, smelting, shipping again, manufacturing, shipping again, installation, life of wind turbine and tower, decommissioning, same for the rare earth magnets, wiring, etc.....hydro is also much dirtier than coal as hydro is THE #1 largest annual emitter of methane which is 20 times as potent as C02 (provided you believe C02 is a problem to begin with)..... |
