I posted the desire of Roman women to seek cosmetics to do anything to lighten their skin, heaven for those aristocratic ladies to manage to look then, like the ladies in Mormon Tabernacle choir gals would be heaven for them, that was their ideal of beauty. You see that same plastering faces & powdering wigs into the Eurpoean wealth ranks & nobility that followed. Yet some Christian missionaries on a trip to Southern Sudan encounter the poorest humans on earth travelling in loose family groups, are quite happy living under trees and don't require to even the need to know they have to be saved.

For the West the golden rule is democracy where one has the dream of living well as the best revenge and we live very well some of us.
