If "right" equals Republicans, then some of them are still heading down the same wrong direction that the Democrats are trying to take us.

If you mean Republicans who are making any effort to restrain government, then many of them aren't going far enough.

If you mean some particular isolated individuals, mostly with little power or influence, then yes there are some who are conservative or "on the right" in one way or another who are very unpalatable, but that's always going to be true in any large political movement, and with the democrats and "progressives" unpalatability is much more in their mainstream.
