One thing that's pretty obvious based on the discussion of the Iomega test vs. the Nomai test of their disks - it doesn't really matter who's right; Iomega has succeeded in poisoning the well. I'd bet that not too many Zip users will run even a possibly nonexistent risk with the disks just to save a couple dollars.
