Costco is a different business. They sell fewer items and sell much more of each. Employees move out palets of goods. Lower labor cost per item sold.

Walmart has a club like Coscto too (Sam's club) but most of Walmart's sales are at Walmart stores, and Sam's club is less profitable then Costco
