You are probably right about the far future for robotic trucks, but in the near term we're still going to need human beings IMHO.
Far future? The technology is available today, so I expect to see safe robotic vehicles appearing on the roads in the next 5 years. I'm looking forward to them as I want my next car to drive me to either coast while I cut Zs or enjoy the countryside. I really hate flying these days because of the extreme hassle, not any fear of flying as I've done a lot of that.

Once the robotic vehicles start to appear, sell your airlines stocks.
