Though black people and white people use marijuana at the same rate, black people are much much much more likely to be arrested for possessing it. In other words: our racist criminal justice system In One Chart.

This, of course, is something only a statistical nitwit could have come up with. I would never defend the drug laws. But neither will I defend lying about them.

There are TONS of reasons blacks get arrested and charged with marijuana possession at a much higher rate. For example, marijuana possession is often charged in connection with other crimes, and of course, blacks commit most other crimes. But there are tens, perhaps 100s, of reasons that haven't been statistically accounted for in this nitwit liberal's chart. And it is why he is an MSNBC reporter rather than someone who understands statistical relationships.

I would, however, have expected more from you.
