My idea on how to run things is based on science and democracy.

You want to impose your ideas which I find callous and wrong.

I am simply saying what I think society should do (based on science and compassion) and working to make that happen. My only goal is helping the poor and downtrodden. And I think I know how to do that.

We know from a zillion polls that most conservatives think the poor are lazy and will milk the system and most liberals don't think that.

During the great depression there were many who didn't want to help the people then. So we liberals are always fighting against the greedy and unsympathetic people in our society.
