Personal freedom is freedom for people. People act in economics ways as well as non-economic ways. Also infringing on their economic freedom affects their non-economic freedom as well as their economic liberty. In any case the point is the US is probably not the freest country in the world, at least not any more. And whatever the freest country is, it could still become more free and would benefit from it.
