I am visiting my parents right now. For them, the TV can get only two things, Fox and football games. And the TV is always on. Watching Fox gives you the impression that Benghazi is a hot topic, the ACA if failing so bad that 2014 is going to be a huge wave for Republicans in 2014, and vaccines are evil.

And the War on Christianity is still in full swing.

In other words, they are been deeper in epistemic closure than they were before the last election. The 2014 election is going to be even surreal than 2012.
