Kirk,

thanks for the fast feedback I will check those out on amzn. My #1 is on your site list: Intelligent Investor. also for a 'romp' Reminiscences of a Stock Operator and The Market Wizards books are 'fun' ... as well as hit for the fences tales like 'Pitbull' and I especially liked The Education of a Speculator. Peter Lynch has some pretty basic advice that turned out well in his books too.

Bottom line is try to take away ideas for any investment of risk capital such as limit losses and let winners run, it's hard to make money in a crowded trade -contrarian ideas-, don’t be emotional, don’t fall for human weaknesses based on our mammalian (or initially reptilian) brains. don’t over leverage, don’t over size, know thyself, use basic entry and exit points based on TA. Much easier said than done for many though. I don’t trade full time so really that ought to be considered investing or at best swing trading... or special opportunity trading (what I try to do now based on extremes) Confusing these different types of things-as it turns out-costs money.

Best of fortune to all here.
