Oh I agree that it might be somewhat scripted. There are too many coincidences, too much information passed along.

For example, someone is next to be voted off. Then they miraculously pull off a win (sometimes their first) in the immunity challenge. It happens too often for someone not to have had a hand in it. I don't know. Nobody knows but the producers and they aren't talking.

They do need to freshen it up though. It's getting stale. What they've tried so far hasn't really appealed to the viewers. The three tribes didn't work. Men vs women didn't work. Blood vs water was predictable in the beginning and it was basically just another version of Fans vs. Favorites. Maybe they should try the original format again, see how that works.

And, for crying out loud, get rid of redemption island. When you're voted out, you should stay out. I don't think that'll happen, though. Wasn't it started as some kind of protection for the producers when that loony-toons teacher quit, had a few days off, a clean bed and a couple of steaks, and then they allowed her back when her revitalized self whined about going back? I've forgotten the details but I think it went something like that.
