I'm sure there was some edifying story at the heart of it. We've seen that Brumar will change and order scripture to suit his own comfort and belief level as did young Greg or e and I'm sure their pre-historic equivalents would do the same thing. Whatever story lies at the heart of the Jesus myths has been lost in time and translation by multiple authors each with their own particular agenda. We can be glad our Couch Christians don't actually read the bible or they would be running amok causing all kinds of mischief like a bad episode of Monty Python. They have the energy to throw out endless feeble little jabs constantly floundering and stammering without once having true courage of conviction.
