I just went back and read all of your posts on this thread as well as some others. You are new to SI, not too many posts and your posts are subtle, informed, concise...and have some unique ideas expressed in them. I get the impression that you are far more informed about weather than you present.

I had to read up on synoptic patterns/systems. I had never heard the idea that higher CO2 levels would act as a thermostat and would actually smooth out the weather patterns rather than create more extreme patterns. This sounds like a very interesting area to examine.

Of course, recent weather patterns are pretty good evidence to support what you are saying. We have more CO2, but we have fewer hurricanes and fewer tornadoes.

You had one peoplemark before. Now you have two.
