I think the supporters of getting rid of SS and Medicare, all Republicans, will hold their tongues until the boomer generation has been swallowed and excreted by the Anaconda of time. They saw how popular any tinkering with that was when Bush tried to scare America into privatizing it. 10,000 boomers apply for SS every day. We all vote, and we vote for our economic and social benefit. Even confused conservative Republican seniors say ridiculous things like "Keep your damn government hands off my SS and Medicare!"
